Privacy Policy

I’m Renata, and I run Renton Skin Care as a one-person studio at 4659 NE 2nd Street, Renton, WA 98059. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to information you send through rentonskincare.com. It covers the website only — the paper intake form you fill in at your first visit is kept in the studio and is not part of this site.

What I collect, and when

When you request an appointment

The booking form asks for your name, email address, phone number, the treatment you want, your preferred date and time, and an optional box for skin concerns, allergies or questions. I use all of it for one thing: to contact you and confirm an appointment. If you tell me about a skin condition or an allergy in that box, I treat it the way I treat anything you tell me in the studio — as private, and only for planning your treatment safely.

When you subscribe to the newsletter

The footer form collects your email address and nothing else. It is used to send occasional skincare notes. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.

When you simply read the site

Google Analytics records anonymous, aggregate usage — which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are in the world, what kind of device they use. I look at it to understand which pages are useful. It does not tell me who you are. The analytics script does not load until you interact with the page or the browser goes idle.

Who else sees it

I don’t sell your information, rent it, or hand it to advertisers. A small number of services process it on my behalf so the site can function:

• Netlify hosts the site and receives form submissions.
• Make.com passes booking requests from the form to my inbox and sends your confirmation email.
• Yahoo Mail delivers that confirmation and holds our email correspondence.
• Google Analytics provides the anonymous usage statistics described above.
• Google Maps supplies the map on the contact section. Loading that map means Google can see your IP address, the same as visiting Google Maps directly.

Each of these has its own privacy policy governing what it does with data it processes.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to tell repeat visits from new ones, and the embedded Google map may set cookies when it loads. Your browser settings can block either; the site works without them.

How long I keep it

Booking requests and the email thread that follows stay in my inbox as a record of our appointments. Newsletter subscriptions last until you unsubscribe. Analytics data expires on Google’s standard retention schedule.

Your choices

You can ask me at any time to tell you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email renata@rentonskincare.com or call the studio and I’ll take care of it. There is no form to fill in and I won’t ask you why.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and I don’t knowingly collect their information. Minors are welcome as clients with a parent or guardian present, but the booking should come from the adult.

Changes to this policy

If the way the site handles information changes, I’ll update this page and change the date at the top.
